He was best known for grabbing rebounds, but now former NBA star Dennis Rodman could use an assist in his life. An Orange County court commissioner told the Hall of Famer yesterday that he will be held in contempt - and face 20 days in prison - over the $860,376 in child/spousal support he owes his ex-wife. Rodman has until May 29 to come up with the money, but it could be a problem says his financial advisor, Peggy Williams. She claims her client is broke.

"In all honesty, Dennis, although a very sweet person, is an alcoholic," Williams tells The Los Angeles Times of Rodman. "His sickness impacts his ability to get work."

Rodman is a multiple-time champion and All-Star and one of the best defenders in NBA history. His colorful life off the court has included a marriage to Carmen Electra; time spent as Madonna's boyfriend; and a resume that includes donning a wedding dress to a book signing, along with coaching a topless women's team. Police have reportedly been called to his Newport Beach home 80 times over the years to deal with loud, over-the-top parties. Referring to Rodman's split from his third wife, Michelle, Williams says the athlete has been on a "binge [like] I have never seen before.” In court yesterday, Rodman characterized his relationship with Michelle as friendly, saying "it's never been a hate thing" and even made lunch plans with his ex when the session broke. We're guessing she picked up the tab.

A new beauty pageant scandal has broken out, but this one has nothing to do with naked photos or a contestant's stance on gay marriage. Jenna Talackova - a 23-year old who was born a man, but who underwent gender reassignment surgery at the age of 19 - has been disqualified from Miss Universe Canada because, according to a statement from the organization, she does not "meet the requirements to compete, despite having stated otherwise on her entry form."

Producers added that they do respect Talackova's "goals, determination and wish her the best

"I am very disappointed with the decision taken by the Miss Universe ... organizers," Talackova said in a statement released today. "However, I will look to turn this situation into a positive so that other people in a similar situation are not discriminated against in the future."

Denis Davila, the director of the event, says there are rules in place that make it clear one must be born a woman in order to compete. Jenna, he says, indicated on her original registration that she was female, only to later explain her unusual situation.

Reactions to the decision have been mixed with over 20,000 signatures on a change.org petition to reverse the pageant ruling.

She told the magazine: 'A year before I got scouted, I would watch a lot of FashionTV. At school, I got teased because I was so thin and awkward-looking. But the girls on TV looked similar to me. 'I would say to my mom "The girls at school are teasing me, but I look like those girls on TV". A year later, someone took me to an agency and that’s it. Revenge is always… I know it sounds terrible, but it does feel good to show those people.

'I put all my eggs in one basket when I left South Africa. I put my head down and worked my ass off. And look where it got me.'

Candice, who has been dating Brazilian model Hermann Nicoli since she was 17, said that whenever she feels down, she'll look at social networking sites to cheer up.

'Whenever you feel down, you can check on Twitter and feel better about yourself, because it’s only people who like you.'

The beauty said she had developed lasting friendships with fellow Victoria's Secret models, who understood what she was going through.

'It’s so nice. We live a very different life that not many other people can understand.'

Most new mothers would recoil at the thought of stripping off for the camera after giving birth.

But Nadya Suleman, more commonly known as Octomum, has posed nude to reveal her post-baby body - albeit with a pair of flesh coloured knickers to protect her modesty.

Admittedly, she had waited three years. But the mother-of-14 says she has finally shrunk back to a size she likes after losing a staggering ten stone.

She even claims that she has 'never looked this good.' In fact, as she posed topless for Closer, Nadya is rather boastful in many aspects of her life, crediting herself with being 'such a good mother' and saying she is swamped with 'too much male attention'. She also seemed a little irate that no one is giving her more praise, as she revealed: 'The kids have structure and discipline and only eat healthily, they don’t know what candy is!  'I’ve done a really great job with them. I don’t get any credit.' Juggling so many children, Nadya claims she has been celibate for 13 years and that all of her children were all conceived through a sperm donor as she simply has no time for a man.

She said: 'I get too much male attention, but I won’t date until the octuplets are 18 - I live for them.

'I know a lot of women like male attention, but I’ll go out with no make-up on and wear tracksuits, a wig and even a fake pregnancy stomach to put them off.'

Yet it seems there is nothing Nadya can do to disinterest men as she has such a fantastic figure. She said: 'I just pinged back into shape like a rubber band after the kids, I don’t know how I did it. I eat like a horse, don’t count calories and have never owned a set of scales.

'I gained an entire human when I was pregnant with the octuplets, going from 10st to over 19st, but two months later, I was a size 8 again. Now, I never weigh myself.'

The 36-year-old gave birth to her brood in 2009, and after the six boys and two girls turned three in January, they became the longest-surviving set of octuplets in American history. While she claims to be proud of her shape, not even minding the stretch marks on her stomach, Nadya did admit that just two weeks after her C-section, she began doing 50 sit-ups a day. She also became a fitness fanatic, hitting the gym three times a week for two-hour stints in the middle of the night while a friend babysat so she could 'get stronger'. 'I've never believed in diets,' Nadya said. 'I just eat healthily. I’m a pescatarian and eat 15 portions of fruit or vegetables a day. I eat so much!

'Now, I run 40 miles a week, whenever my mum or a friend will babysit, but it’s still just for stress relief. My eldest son (aged 10) even comes with me sometimes - he can manage a couple of miles.'Nadya, who claims to live off media interest rather than state handouts (although she’s eight months in arrears on her mortgage and facing eviction) says she won't rule out a future romance. She added: 'I wouldn’t rule out a relationship in the future. But now, when men look at me, I look away and they know not to approach me. I know I’m beautiful - I don’t need a man to tell me that.'
