“Casey continues to receive death threats, and she’s finally realized there is no place in America where she can lead a safe, quiet life,” a source told The ENQUIRER.“She’s in the Orlando area serving her probation (for check-fraud charges), but she’s keeping her whereabouts secret. She said, ‘I’m moving to Mexico , and I’m never coming back!’ Eventually, she plans to become a Mexican citizen.”Anthony was freed from Florida ’s Orange County jail on July 17, and insiders say she now plans to relocate to a beach cottage in Mexico . The house is on a huge ranch owned by a close friend and located near La Paz on the Sea of Cortez in the southern area of the Baja peninsula.“The property is so remote it’s accessible only by plane,” a source told The ENQUIRER.
“It has its own airstrip and nearly five miles of beachfront. It’s a place where Casey won’t be hounded by the media or people who believe she killed her daughter.”Even though her financial prospects were dim, crafty Casey has managed to finance her escape, added the source.“Casey was counting on getting a pile of money for her story when she got out of jail, but there were no takers,” the source explained. “Still she got her hands on what she needed through a wealthy man in California .
“They’d exchanged flirty letters while she was behind bars, and when Casey was freed from prison, she fled to California on a private plane. While she was there, the two had a brief romance.”The loaded Romeo was captivated with Casey and didn’t even blink when she hit him up for big bucks, said the insider. “He staked her with as much as $200,000, plenty of money for Casey to live the life of leisure she craves – especially in Mexico where the cost of living is cheap.”
Casey is now in Florida serving a year’s probation. She’s studying Spanish with a private tutor in preparation for her move to Mexico – and receiving therapy for trauma associated with the case, said the source, who added that she’s constantly looking over her shoulder. “She’s already dreaming of sunbathing on the beach along the Sea of Cortez where no one will recognize her.
