New LOW LOW for TLC TV show Toddlers & Tiars (video)

Toddlers & Tiars is a show on TLC that focuses on parents who dress their children up in ridiculous outfits, force them to learn a talent and then pressure them to perform in tyke-based beauty pageants around the country.

In other words: there's very little high ground to be found anywhere on this series.Yet the reality program has still managed to reach a new low, airing a promo this week that focuses on Paisley, A THREE-YEAR OLD CONTESTANT, who is dressed like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, i.e. a prostitute.Rages the Parents Television Council in response: "We have a serious problem when a network formerly known as The Learning Channel features a toddler, who probably hasn't even learned to read, dressed as a prostitute showing off her sexy strut.

"For years we've seen adult sexuality being inappropriately and aggressively foisted on innocent young children, but children today are being sexualized at younger and younger ages. All available data suggests they will suffer for it later in life."

Why Miss Mexico Cynthia De La Vega Stripped of Crown (video)

 

Another beauty pageant scandal is upon us. But this one has nothing to do with lewd photos, crucifixion reenactments or gay marriage stances.Cynthia De La Vega appeared on Good Morning America today and claimed officials took away her Miss Mexico title because she dared to gain six pounds. The 19-year old was scheduled to represent her country in November's Miss World Pageant."I was very, very excited because I thought this would be a great experience," Cynthia said, adding of her reaction to the stripped sash: "I was very sad and very deceived. They claim the teenager old lost her crown due to a "lack of dedication and discipline." But De La Vega said she attended every class and was prepared to compete in November.

Woo-See Eva Longoria Lesbian Kiss with Kate Del Castillo (video)

Eva Longoria stars in the indie comedy, "Without Men," as the de facto lady in charge of a Latin American village that loses all of its men when they are forcibly recruited by a bunch of guerilla revolutionaries. It looks like a largely fun film about women taking over the various unsavory roles that men fill in everyday society, with "The Office" star Oscar Nunez, as a priest, the only hombre in town. Eventually, American journalist Christian Slater comes to town and seems to spark a romance with Longoria's character, but before that, any and all sexual interplay is strictly a ladies-only affair.Which means Longoria some lesbian moments -- with co-star Kate del Castillo.“It was a little difficult as the two girls are both straight so they were very nervous and laughed a lot,” the film's director, Gabriela Tagliavini, told Fox News. “But I think that just made it even lovelier. [Female audiences] don’t want to watch porn, so it was all very sensual, both are very beautiful women aside from being incredibly funny.”Of course, this isn't the first time Longoria has dabbled in girls-only kissing on film -- though she may want to forget the last time it happened.In April, Longoria re-upped her contract for "Desperate Housewives," and she'll also soon star in "The Baytown Disco."  Based on James Cannon's best selling book, "Tales From the Town of Widows," the film hits theaters July 29th.
