A Playboy starlet has denied being responsible for the break-up of shamed basketball star Kobe Bryant's marriage.A slew of internet rumours claimed the LA Laker's player's wife Vanessa was furious he had taken Playmate Jessica Burciaga as a mistress.

After being confronted with the rumours by TMZ she waved her forefinger in the air and said: 'Not I.'

The 28-year-old has also been raging about the accusations on Twitter.

She tweeted: 'The people who know the least about a situation talk so much s***. Geez go get a life of your own.

'The first media website that released this false story now takes it down, but thanks a lot now it's all over every other blog.'

She also said she felt vindicated after the website took down the offending story.

She said: 'It feels good when a non reliable, crappy media website retracts their story and takes my pics down and gets its right.'

If she did have a relationship with the 6'6" star they would certainly make an odd couple, as she is just 5'2".

Burciaga was a centrefold in the famous magazine in 2009, and has just completed another racy shoot for the publication.

And she printed an image from her latest shoot. It has also been claimed that the basketball star's wife did not get along with Khloe Kardashian and the rest of the players' partners

According to RadarOnline the reality star went out of her way to try and get to know Vanessa because Kobe and her hubby are very close.

But a team insider said she was not given the time of day.

A team insider said: 'Khloe truly tried to break through Vanessa's icy exterior, with no success.

'Khloe has always been down to earth, and she became instantly very well liked by Lamar's teammates and wives.

'Vanessa was extremely jealous of the loving and healthy marriage that Lamar and Khloe have.

'Khloe and Lamar had the Bryants over for dinner. 'Vanessa just thinks that she is better than everyone else.'

And the shooting guard is now said to be concentrating on his game as he gets over the shock of the split.

The insider said: 'Kobe's sole focus right now is the Los Angeles Lakers, and his two daughters.

'Kobe is excited for the season to finally begin, and he is very excited about the upcoming season.

'Kobe is driven, and committed to his team, and anything that is going on in his personal life won't affect him on the court.'

The source also said Vanessa was also partly to blame for the break-up, despite his infidelities, because she is 'extremely arrogant, and very, very hard to get along with.'
